Application Procedure
1. Submit Course Application & Supporting Documents
- Submit the BCI Application Form & Pre-Course Counselling Form.
- Submit the following supporting documents:
- Copy of applicant’s Passport biodata page (with at least 1 year of validity)
- Copy of applicant’s Birth Certificate
- Notarised / Certified true copies of applicant’s Academic Transcripts and Certificates
- Copy of parent’s Passport / ID (if applicant is under 18 years old)
- Proof of applicant’s English Proficiency (at least one of the following)
- IELTS / TOEFL results
- Pass in BCI’s English Placement Test
- Letter from the applicant’s latest school confirming English as the medium of instruction
2. Pay Application Fee
- Pay an application fee of S$500* (non-refundable).
- *price stated is before prevailing GST
3. Academic Review
- Applicants will be scheduled to sit for the BCI entrance test to determine programme eligibility and placement level.
- Applications and test results will be reviewed by the academic team to assess suitability for the selected course.
4. Receive Admission Offer
- Successful applicants will receive the following documents to be signed and submitted:
- Letter of Offer
- Student Contract
- Advisory Note
5. Submit Required Documents
- Applicants must submit the following documents for processing:
- Signed copy of Letter of Offer
- Signed copy of Student Contract
- Signed copy of Advisory Note
- ICA Immigration eForm 16 & eForm V36
- Parents’ Employment Letters (stating designation, salary, and duration of employment)
- Proof of financial support (bank statement showing minimum S$30,000)
- Passport-sized photo (white background, taken within the last 3 months)
6. Pay Course Fees
- Full course fees must be paid at least one month before the course start date.
7. Student Pass Application
- BCI will submit the required documents to Singapore’s Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) for Student Pass Application.
- If the application is approved by ICA, a copy of the In-Principle Approval (IPA) letter will be issued to the applicant.
- The application process is complete once the Student Pass has been issued.
Student Pass Application
Applications will only be processed once all required documents, including payment of the Application Fee, are submitted. Incomplete applications may result in rejection. Please note that the Application Fee is strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
The following need to be submitted to support a student pass application:
- Copy of applicant’s Passport biodata page (with at least 1 year of validity)
- Copy of applicant’s Birth Certificate
- Copy of applicant’s Academic Transcript and Certificates
- Copy of parent’s Passport / ID (if applicant is under 18 years old)

Proof of applicant’s English Proficiency (at least one of the following)
- IELTS/TOEFL results
- Pass BCI’s English Placement Test - Application Fee payment of S$500 before GST (non-refundable)
Applicants from Visa-Required Countries must also submit the following (e.g. China, India, Kazakhstan, etc.):
- Copy of parent’s Employment Letters (stating designation, salary, and duration of employment)
- Proof of financial support (bank statement showing minimum S$30,000)
Applicants below 12 years old must also submit the following:
- Verification of Vaccination Requirements document issued by HPB (for entry to Singapore)
- Copy of applicant’s immunisation records from their country of origin
*All non-English documents must be accompanied by official notarised English translations.

Student Contract
It is a mandatory requirement by the SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) that all students sign the Standard Student Contract with Brentvale College International (BCI) upon accepting an offer of admission. Before signing the Student Contract, students should carefully read the Advisory Note to Students and ensure the following information is accurate and clearly stated:
- Course duration, including holidays and examination schedules, and contact hours per day and week
- Total fees payable
- Payment schedule and due dates.
- Refund Policy
- The Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) you are subscribed to and its coverage.
- Available dispute resolution procedures.
- BCI’s academic and disciplinary policies.
- The qualification (certificate, diploma, or equivalent) is awarded upon successful completion of the course.
The Student Contract is a critical document designed to safeguard both students and the College by minimising potential disputes. It must be fully understood before enrolment. Students must note that no course fee payments should be made until the Student Contract has been signed.
Student Pass Application
- Birth certificate (Notarised and translated)
- Highest level of education certificate and transcript (Notarised and translated)
- Copy of applicant’s passport
- Employment letters of applicant’s parents (Printed on the company’s letterhead, stating designation, salary and duration of work with the company)
- Bank deposit statement, minimum of $150,000RMB for Chinese students. (Notarised and translated)
- 4 recent passport-sized photos taken with a white background. (Digital or colour-scanned, high resolution, 400×514)
*Any photocopied documents will need to be certified true copies.
