The first week of school is always filled with excitement and new beginnings. This year at Brentvale College International, it was even more special as it coincided with Teacher’s Day on Friday. Although the students had only just met their teachers, they still made the day memorable with their genuine gratitude.
Teacher’s Day is a time to celebrate and recognise the dedication, patience, and passion that educators bring to guiding and nurturing students every day. This year’s celebration held a unique charm as our students came together to express their appreciation, even as they were still settling into their new environment.
Despite having spent only a few days with their teachers, the students embraced the spirit of the occasion and began planning a heartfelt surprise. They split into groups and created hand-drawn posters with messages dedicated to the teachers who would be guiding them for the rest of the school year.
The posters were filled with colourful drawings that showcased the students’ artistic flair and creativity, accompanied by meaningful words commemorating the teachers. They now hang proudly in the hallways, letting teachers know that they are valued and appreciated on our campus.
Teacher’s Day left a lasting impression on both students and faculty, setting a tone of respect, teamwork, and growth for the semester ahead. The celebration was a reminder that appreciation is valuable at every stage, even at the very beginning.
