All BCI students are covered by mandatory medical insurance as required by SkillsFuture Singapore.
Mandatory Medical Insurance
In compliance with the requirements of SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG), all international students enrolled at BCI are required to have medical insurance coverage for the duration of their studies in Singapore.
BCI arranges group medical insurance for all eligible students. The insurance premium is included in the miscellaneous fees payable upon enrolment. Students will receive their insurance certificate and policy details upon enrolment.
Coverage Includes
- Hospitalisation and surgical expenses
- Emergency medical treatment
- Outpatient medical consultation
- Accidental death and permanent disability
- Medical evacuation and repatriation
- Coverage valid throughout Singapore
Making a Claim
In the event of a medical emergency or hospitalisation, please notify BCI's Student Affairs Office as soon as possible. We will assist you with the insurance claim process.
Keep all medical receipts and documents. Claims must be submitted within 30 days of treatment. For the insurance provider's emergency hotline, please refer to your insurance certificate.
